Classroom Notice Matters

 There is an increased risk associated with being in a classroom all day even in masks that is higher than being at the same school site.  Notifications at different levels that correspond to the increased risk level while at the same time being respectful of everyone’s privacy helps reduce COVID cases at schools and prevent larger outbreaks, which could close schools.  Please notify families with classroom notices so families may increase social distancing and choose to be tested.  All families in the district should be entitled to notice of increased risk when cases happen.  It is not to scare anyone; it is to empower families to take action that will help keep schools open and safe.
